Interesting observation from Ted Omtzigt: Split browser architecture of Amazon's Silk and Kindle Fire will widen gulf between consumer user experience and enterprise user experience. Imagine if Amazon were to offer a office suite in the cloud using completely captive browser technology. What would the response be from Salesforce, Zoho, Microsoft, Google, et al? Could we end up with a zoo of site-specific browsers? Sounds like the mobile app marketplace.
